How to add a YouTube Video block to the Page Editor
Using the content ID, easily embed YouTube videos onto your webpage or, even include them in sliders and pop-ups. The YouTube Video block is configurable with all current YouTube player options and is automatically placed into a scaling iFrame, making your clips responsive to smaller screen widths.
1. Adding YouTube Video blocks from Page Blocks
To add a YouTube Video block to your page, open Page Blocks and select YouTube Videos from under the Visual Blocks tab.
2. Finding a YouTube video ID
To find the YouTube video ID, open your chosen clip on YouTube. In the URL, highlight the code in the section after “v=”, right-click and copy. Go back into the Page Editor, and right-click on the YouTube Video block to open the Options pop-up. From here paste the code into the YouTube Video ID field.
3. Configuring the options for the YouTube Videos block
YouTube offers a variety of configurations for its videos, all these options are available in the Options pop-up, to access this highlight the YouTube Video block and right-click. There are a variety of variables that you can change including auto-play, progress colour, looping the video, information shown, YouTube branding and more.
